The A&A Foundation recognizes every individual’s recovery journey, from beginning stages to post-treatment, is different. Those facing financial hardships, and/or a lack of insurance coverage, may discover initial treatment services are out of their reach. There are instances too when insurance policies will pay for treatment, but no form of post-treatment or aftercare regimen, e.g. transitional living, case management, coaching, therapy, clinical support, etc.
A&A firmly believes maintaining one’s momentum throughout the entire recovery journey is crucial to long-term success and the Foundation understands obtaining funds for such services can be very challenging.
Our mission is to alleviate the financial and emotional strain families and individuals face at this juncture; when finances are limited, so too are the options for supportive care. When this occurs, families and/or individuals are forced to either assume a heavy financial burden or deny themselves or their loved ones much-needed support. Without continued care the combination of underdeveloped coping skills, emotional triggers, and lack of family education can and does, often lead to relapse.
Our aim is to help individuals and families throughout the recovery journey at any stage, in support of long-term sobriety and recovery.
